The 598 assault boat is a high-speed fiberglass planing hull, suitable for Inland River Class A navigation areas, primarily used for emergency rescue and cargo transport in calm waters. Featuring a robust, stable, and corrosion-resistant hull, the boat utilizes a longitudinal framing structure and anti-sinking buoyancy modules, meeting safety standards for unsinkability even when fully flooded. The boat is equipped with a 60 hp gasoline outboard engine, featuring an aft steering configuration for easy manual control and a capacity of 12 passengers.
